Most lift table and pallet positioner platforms sit 8" to 10" above the floor when fully lowered. So they must be loaded by a fork lift or stacker. Southworth’s Low-Pro Series™ of low-profile lift tables and pallet positioners have platforms that sit essentially flush to the floor so they can be loaded and unloaded by ordinary hand pallet trucks which cost less, are easier to operate, don't require certification and are more abundant in most facilities.
